Summer is upon us and now the mad dash to find things to do in Worcester MA with your kids! It’s fun spending time at the family pool but kids get bored, so finding different things to do during the week helps pass the time! Ive rounded up a list of our favorite things to do in the area! Check it out!

The Worcester Ecotarium

The Ecotarium is so much fun for kiddos of all ages. The EcoTarium museum of science and nature in Worcester, Massachusetts offers an indoor-outdoor experience to visitors of all ages. Theres live animal habitats, and exciting shows in the digital planetarium. Theres daily Science Discovery programs, hikes through forest and meadow nature trails, outdoor imaginative play, and a train ride around the 45+ acre campus (seasonal).

They are currently only open outdoors only Friday-Sundays 10am-5pm. They are opening their indoors in the beginning of July! Even though they are outdoors only currently, theres still lots to do between the playground, Resident wildlife habitats: Wild Cat Station, Bald Eagle, Barred Owls, Red Fox, River Otters, Turkey Vulture, and Ravens, their bubble exhibit, the train ride, and lots of nature paths and trails!

Green Hill Park

Green Hill Park has lots to do with kids! They have The Green Hill Park Farm which is home to various gentle farm animals and is a great place for families with children looking for a leisurely activity on a nice day. The farm is open year round and is located within Green Hill Park. The farm is free of charge and open to the public. Theres also fishing at Green Hill Pond, handball, baseball, softball, soccer/football on their multipurpose field, and even a skate park. There’s a variety of sporting areas to keep you busy!

Canal District

The Canal District in Worcester, MA has Events, Bars, Restaurants, Clubs, & Retail and is widely acknowledged as the city’s most actively developing area. Theres plenty to do and see in that area!

Worcester Red Sox Game

The Worcester Red Sox (aka the WooSox) is the AAA affiliate of the Boston Redsox, where injured Red Sox players rehab and upcoming stars hone their skills. Go enjoy the action and excitement of minor league baseball at the brand new Polar Park in Worcester. The games are perfect for kids of all ages.

Elm Park

Elm Park is split in two by Park Avenue. Much of the west side of the park is wooded trails, but there is a lighted basketball court and four lighted tennis courts on the farthest western end at Newton Square. The eastern side of the park contains ponds for ice skating in the winter and two iconic bridges spanning Lincoln Pond in the middle of the park. This side also contains a playground and picnic area to enjoy.

Davis Farmland

Right outside of Worcester in Sterling MA is an adorable kids farm and playground. It has multiple different playgrounds, an imagination land built of adorable little houses, a large splash park and so much more. Between petting and feeding all the animals and playing at all the different play areas, you can spend your entire day at Davis. Top it off by getting dinner at their restaurant at the end of the day and you wont be disappointed!
